Bending
Capabilities around tube bending have become more and more essential as vehicle and industrial equipment has become more compact, complex, and efficient. The use of thinner wall tubing and tighter bend geometries mean that assemblies are more susceptible to leaks from wall thinning at the outer radius or from rubbing against other components during equipment use if bend coordinates are even slightly off from the design routing.
Stark Manufacturing has been a leader in bending of complex tube geometries since 1976, starting with hand bending thin aluminum tubes around custom made jigs, then transitioning to manually operating benders, and for the last 30 years, utilizing a variety of different CNC bender designs for the ultimate solution in flexibility and precision. Our internal automation and controls team is responsible for ensuring that equipment is refurbished and features are updated as needed to keep up with the needs of modern industry.
For high volume programs of greater than approximately 300,000 pieces, Stark is able to design dedicated equipment to further improve cycle time and throughput.
